Clinical Rotation
... Despite over a year of hard work... Of nothing but A's with a few B's thrown in the GPA cesspool, there are no clinical sites available in MN, WI, IA, ND or SD. My options are very limted:
Cleveland, Ohio - Pass
Corvalis, OR - Pass
Aurora, Co - My roomie would kill me
Dallas, TX (2 sites) - Likely
Fort Worth, TX - Also likely
Phoenix, AZ - Pass
Tucson, AZ - Also pass
Baton Rouge, LA - Absolutely pass
So as you see I worked my ass off for absolutely nothing... The gods and the fates... Adore me... It just makes it so much easier for me to die.

Hmm...why exactly did you choose the ones that you chose? Or not choose others? Especially Cleveland and Baton Rouge?
I would like to add that I actually have a very specific reason for asking.
Maybe a change of scene would be a blessing? And I am absolutely positive that your hard work was not for nothing; you have saved LIVES in the process, remember, and I'm sure there will be more to come!
@FoxFire12 - Because Louisiana is full of white racism... Hurricanes... Poverty and Humidity...
AZ is more or less the same...
Ohio...The same...
TX has an almost unaffected economy.... Not to mention it has 3 large hospitals within the same area. My chances of getting a job are higher.
You may be avoiding hurricanes in Louisiana, but you'll be trading them in for tornadoes in Texas, not to mention the intense summers they have down there. That's all stuff that can be tolerated, though. Best of luck finding a job there... I know a few people who were able to find jobs in Dallas. Hopefully you find an opportunity there as well.
@alltimelow22 - I've been through tornadoes here in MN... They are no big deal...And we have intense summers in MN with high humidity... I have been monitoring the temps in TX for a long time... I've been waiting for when my MN clinical plans backfired in my face... So I had a back up in mind...
@alltimelow22 - Tornadoes actually aren't that big of a problem. We have warnings by me at least three times a year and I've yet to see one of the fuckers.
This is one of those fucking knock on wood moments, isn't it?
If a hurricane warning is in effect, you're probably 100 times more likely to see an actual fucking hurricane.
