  • It seems like my darkest dreams have became reality...

    I am moving to Texas.

This is very likely the end of everything.

    Yes, Indeed.

  • Is it going to be a nightmare because it's super hot in Texas?

I can't stand hot weather either.

  • @coffeeishappinessinacup - No, because I won't survive moving. Literally.

  • Sister, you have survived far greater trials than moving to Texas; you are a living miracle.

    When do you move?

  • @devour_my_broken_soul - That whomps, I'll be sure to pray for your journey there & that you won't die on the way there.

  • @Ancient_Scribe - The second or third week in april.

  • @devour_my_broken_soul - You'll have my prayers definitely! Please keep me posted as you find out more about the exact when and where. And don't be afraid! This could be exactly what you need to find the freedom you've been longing for from so much that weighs you down.

That and you won't have to deal with so much snow!

  • I deeply wish that words of encouragement had any effect on you. However, you have survived far greater trials and despite my distaste toward religion, I believe your Ancient Scribe friend is exactly on target. You underestimate your ability to survive.

I wish you would find a therapist in Texas so that you don't feel entirely alone. There is free counseling in most places and though they are paid to care, a lot of them are very genuine. You aren't obligated to spill every secret or even to trust them. You can say whatever you want to say. You can talk about money problems for 50 minutes. You can talk about how irritated you are with your coworkers. I just spent 50 minutes telling mine about Raven's nauseating baked goods. They don't mind.
